So—we’ve had Covid19 which was supposed to slow us down,
and then just last week 10.19 inches of rain, resulting in a flood
here at Smith Mountain Lake, that truly made a mess of docks,
and the coastline–in fact we’re all still trying to find the time to
pressure wash–but it’s raining again!
BUT THAT HASN’T STOPPED SALES
Attached are the 57 HOMES THAT ARE GONE!
UNDER CONTRACT. PENDING. AND LOOK AT THE PRICE POINTS.
So, to answer the questions:
Q> “Will there be lots of inventory at super cheap prices because the virus”?
A> The answer is “No”…sorry.
Q> “Have sales slowed down due to the weather and Covid19”?
A> The answer is “No”.
Q> “Are there deals to be made on Smith Mountain Lake in 2020”?
A> The answer to that lies in ready, willing, pre-approved, and able buyers
who are also willing to put pen-to-paper because verbals are no longer accepted.
It is highly possible that if you are armed with your PreQual letter from your
lending institution and have a seasoned, schooled and clever agent that you
can still make a deal here…
The Only Question You Should Be Asking Yourself is:
“What are you waiting for?”
Even though this is a somewhat painful exercise,
it’s important for EVERYONE to see the one’s that got away……
