Tax Credits Expire April 30, 2010
As many of you know, second homes, luxury homes and vacation homes do not qualify for the tax credit which is due to expire in mere hours….what you may not realize though, is that if you were thinking about “bumping up” your primary home here at the lake and were already ready to make that move, you need to get the home you are interested in purchasing under contract within the next 2 days and you can still meet the cut-off! Many lake lenders are happy to discuss financing options and I have several contacts for you if you are interested in a quick response to your financial solution!

The $8,000 tax credit for first-time home buyers and the $6,500 tax credit for repeat home buyers expire on April 30, 2010. However, service members who were on official extended duty outside of the United States for at least 90 days between Jan.1, 2009 and May 1, 2010, may qualify for a one-year extension
If a binding sales contract is signed by April 30, 2010, home buyers have until June 30, 2010 to complete the purchase. This is possible if you act tonight through Friday only!!!
